Original title: ‘Interior of a native village or “pa”, in New Zealand, situated near the Town of Petre, at Wanganui, one of The New Zealand Company’s settlements in Cook’s Straits, Northern Island. The figures in the foreground are all portraits, and the original picture (now in London) was painted on the spot [etc.].’ Lithographed by Edmund Walker of Day and Son, London.
